Connect Lensmor Agent to Telegram

Step 1: Open BotFather on Telegram

Open Telegram (mobile or desktop) and search for @BotFather in the search bar.

BotFather is Telegram's official bot for creating and managing bots. Make sure you select the verified account with a blue checkmark.

Tap Start to begin the conversation (or send /start if you've opened it before).

Step 2: Create a New Bot

Send the following command in the BotFather chat:

/newbot 

BotFather will reply asking you to complete two setup steps.

Step 3: Set a Display Name for Your Bot

BotFather will ask:

"Alright, a new bot. How are we going to call it? Please choose a name for your bot."

Type a display name for your bot. This is the name that will appear in your Telegram contact list.

Example: Lensmor Notifications

This name is for display only and can be anything you like.

Step 4: Copy Your Bot Token

Once your bot is created, BotFather will send a confirmation message that includes your Bot Token. It looks like this:

Done! Congratulations on your new bot. You will find it at t.me/mycompany_lensmor_bot. You can now add a description, about section and profile picture for your bot... Use this token to access the HTTP API: 123456789:ABCdefGHIjklMNOpqrSTUvwxYZ-example Keep your token secure and store it safely — it can be used by anyone to control your bot. 

Copy the full token string (the part after Use this token to access the HTTP API:).

⚠️ Keep your token private. Anyone with this token can send messages through your bot.

Step 5: Paste the Token into Lensmor

1. Go to Lensmor Agent

   

2. Navigate to Settings → Connect Telegram

   

3. Paste your Bot Token into the input field

   

4. Click Connect

Lensmor will verify the token and confirm the connection.

You're All Set

Once connected, you can use Lensmor service directly on Telegram. Anywhere and anytime you want!
