Find prospective exhibit-design and stand-building clients around shows your team can deliver. Qualify project scope and timing before treating an exhibitor as a sales opportunity.
When to use this workflow
Use this guide to research prospective stand-design, fabrication, or installation clients at shows your team can deliver. Start with your actual service territory, portfolio, and lead-time requirements—not a list of every exhibitor.
Before you start
Review the event preview and available data before paying to unlock it. Event Access and Full Access include different sources; Visitor access requires an active paid subscription and available Visitor coverage. Contact reveal and message generation are separate actions. Review the current access and Credit cost shown in Lensmor before confirming.
Qualify delivery fit before revealing contacts
Territory and dates. Confirm you can serve the venue and event schedule, including your own design, shipping, installation, and dismantling requirements.
Company and portfolio fit. Review the exhibitor's description and public website. Identify a relevant project type to discuss without assuming booth size or budget.
Decision-maker. Research events, marketing, or operations responsibilities. Confirm whether the company, a global events team, or an agency selects the supplier.
Project status. Ask about the brief, approval deadline, incumbent supplier, and procurement process directly. Treat these as qualification questions, not verified Lensmor data.
Step-by-step workflow
Choose deliverable events. Find shows in your service region and work backward from event dates using your own design, fabrication, shipping, and installation lead times. Exclude locations or dates your team cannot support.
Research suitable exhibitors. Open Exhibitors and review industry, location, company descriptions, and public websites. Apply compatible filters and save a Target Group for your typical customer profile. Review available event connections to understand a company’s participation context.
Find the project decision-maker. Open Attendees and look for events, marketing, or operations roles at shortlisted companies. Review the Source and reveal selected contact details. Confirm who manages stand design and supplier selection.
Start a scoped conversation. Export selected contacts or use your configured destination. Reference the specific event and relevant portfolio experience. Ask about project plans, scope, budget, approval process, incumbent supplier, and delivery schedule; track the answer in your CRM.
For the detailed controls, see Work with Exhibitors and Attendees and Save and Reuse Target Groups. Follow Reveal and Enrich Contact Data and Export Contacts when activating your shortlist.
What to prepare
Prepare company, event and source, service territory, portfolio fit, delivery feasibility, relevant role, and project-qualification questions.
Build a project-qualification brief
Record company, event and dates, source evidence, delivery feasibility, portfolio relevance, contact responsibility, and the next question. A useful first conversation might be: "Who manages the stand brief for this show, and when are supplier decisions made?"
Move the prospect into your project pipeline only after confirming scope and timing. Track a researched exhibitor, a brief received, a proposal, and a won project as separate stages in your CRM.
Common questions
Does an exhibitor listing mean a company needs a new stand builder?
No. It may have an existing supplier, a reusable stand, or no open procurement process.
What if the right event role is not listed?
Review other relevant responsibilities and the company's public contact route. Do not assume any listed employee is the project buyer.
Example
A modular-stand builder serving European industrial shows can prioritize manufacturers within its installation coverage and approach the event team with a question about the next stand brief. This is an illustrative workflow, not a customer result.
Check the evidence and limitations
Exhibitor sources connect companies to events. Signals reflect public event-related activity, not confirmed registration. Visitors are organizer or data-partner records where available. Historical attendance and enriched contacts do not establish future attendance, interest, or purchase intent. Review the attendee source guide before making claims in outreach.
An exhibitor listing is not a confirmed build contract. It does not establish booth size, custom-build requirements, budget, vendor-switch intent, or future participation. Lensmor does not broker projects or provide construction services.
